Hey!

My name is Amir Zucker, and I am the developer of AR Chess app.

After many years of developing commercial apps for both iOS and android platforms, I’ve decided to take my programming to the next dimension and move out of the rigid 2D space to the 3D space of Apple Vision Pro. Initially this was just a side project so I could learn the basics of 3D programming, but it just kept on growing until it reached this beautiful app you see in front of you.

This is but the first step towards having the best chess app on any AR platform, and I hope you join me for the journey. If you have any suggestions for improving the app, if you found a bug that annoys you or just want to give general feedback, feel free to use the Contact Us form, and I will do my best to address your inquiry.

What’s next for the app?

Online games – Play online with random people from around the world

Chess labs – Non-standard modes: King of the hill, Atomic, Chess960, Horde, Last man standing, etc.

Move dictation – Speak your moves

Notebook – Take notes during the game

Immersive Spaces, Leaderboards and achievements
… and the list goes on.

Special thanks to:
Paolo Di Lorenzo – The developer of ChessKit and ChessKitEngine Swift frameworks. Check out his work at

Jon Dart – The developer of Arasan chess engine used in this app:

Without them this project would never ‎have come to pass.
